Several neighbourhoods in Maputo City and the Matola-Rio area will experience water supply restrictions this weekend.
According to a statement from Maputo Water and Sanitation (SAAS-Maputo), maintenance work is under way in the Matola-Rio Operational Area and at the Chamanculo Distribution Centre in Maputo City.
Services are expected to return to normal on Monday, 9 November.
The statement says the restrictions affect the following neighbourhoods and areas:
Matola-Rio Operational Area:
- Matola-Rio
- Part of Chinonanquila
- Djuba
- Djonasse
Maputo City – Chamanculo Distribution Centre:
- Bairro Central A and B
- Polana Caniço A and B
- Sommerschield
- Coop
- Urbanização
- Alto Maé A and B
- Malanga
- Mikadjuine
- Munhuana
- Jardim
- Unidade
- Nsalene
- Inhagoia A
- Xipamanine
- Aeroporto A and B
