Solenta Aviation Mozambique, S.A. is expanding its services with the launch of a scheduled route between Maputo and Vilankulo, with operations set to begin on November 5th. This new connection addresses market demand for reliable and safe air services to one of the country’s most dynamic tourist destinations.

Flights will operate three times a week—on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using an Embraer ERJ135LR aircraft with a capacity for 37 passengers. The aircraft features a pressurized cabin designed for passenger comfort and operational efficiency on regional routes.

The launch of these operations has been strategically timed to coincide with the Mozambique Tourism Summit 2026, a major event taking place in Vilankulo. By aligning the inaugural flight with this summit, the airline reaffirms its role as an active partner committed to national socio-economic development, facilitating the movement of both domestic and international investors and tourists.

To ensure a seamless and accessible booking experience, tickets are now available for purchase at authorized ticket counters, through travel agencies, and online via the platform of COTUR (www.cotur.co.mz), the airline’s strategic distribution partner.

Solenta Aviation Mozambique, S.A. extends its gratitude to the Mozambican authorities, the Civil Aviation Institute of Mozambique (IACM), and all strategic partners whose support was instrumental in making this project a reality.
