Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe has unveiled the Gondolo Ladies First, a collection of six women’s timepieces combining gold, diamonds and a range of colours, during the Watch Art Grand Exhibition Milano 2026 in Italy. Inspired by the Art Déco style, the models are priced between approximately €36,000 and €66,000.
The new collection revives elements of the Ladies First Chronograph, launched in 2009, reinterpreting them with a contemporary design and a broader variety of materials, dials and straps.
All six models feature cushion-shaped cases measuring 31 by 34.8 millimetres, articulated lugs for enhanced comfort and wearability, and the quartz Calibre E15 movement. They are available in rose gold, white gold, or a combination of both metals.
Three versions are distinguished by the use of diamonds on the case, dial and lugs, while the remaining three feature a more restrained decoration, with diamonds set around the dial only.
Among the most ornate models is a rose gold version with green gemstone indices, matching-tone hands and an alligator leather strap. Other options feature combinations of white and rose gold with blue or violet accents.
The less embellished versions include a two-tone model with a silvered dial and beige strap, a white gold piece with a blue dial and a denim-patterned strap, and a rose gold option with brown and gold tones.
According to Thierry Stern, president of Patek Philippe, the intention was to create a women’s watch that is versatile, comfortable and suited to a range of personal styles.
The launch is accompanied by the advertising campaign ‘I am. I wear’, centred on the expression of personality through choices of colour, materials and accessories.
The presentation took place at the seventh edition of the Watch Art Grand Exhibition, held in Milan — a travelling initiative that brings together historical pieces, contemporary watches and items from the Patek Philippe Museum.
With this collection, the brand reinforces its offering of women’s models equipped with quartz movements, complementing the mechanical timepieces in its catalogue.
