Fábrica de Painéis Solares de Moçambique resumes operations under private management

Maputo Province Governor Manuel Tule said today, 21 October, in Beluluane, Boane District, that the agreement signed between the National Energy Fund (FUNAE, FP) and Jampur Group, which provides for the Fábrica de Painéis Solares de Moçambique to be placed under private management, will reduce the costs of importing raw materials and promote social inclusion through more affordable electrification, particularly in rural areas.

Manuel Tule was speaking at the ceremony marking the transfer of the factory to private management, where he also called for local young people to receive training and develop the skills needed to join the factory’s permanent workforce.
